Special Features Announced For Scream Factory's Upcoming WITHOUT WARNING Blu-ray!

It's no secret that I love Scream Factory - and their parent company, Shout! Factory. In fact, I'm probably what you would call a Scream Factory "Fanboy." I love that they are bringing older catalog titles to Blu-ray with great extras. Even their non-“Collector’s Edition” releases usually feature more bonus content than other companies’ “Special Edition” discs. They also have brought a few films to Blu-ray that never even got a legit DVD release. One such movie is Greydon Clark’s 1980 Sci-fi/Horror flick, WITHOUT WARNING, which was previously announced as part of Scream Factory’s ongoing “Summer of Fear.”

Personally, I have yet to see the movie for myself, but I know plenty of people who have been clamoring for a release of it, and more than a few of my associates have expressed their ecstatic opinion of the film to me since the announcement. I also know Scream Factory usually picks movies that I enjoy, so I trust their acquisitions.

WITHOUT WARNING, which streets on August 5, 2014 tells the following story:
A group of teenagers head out to the lake for a relaxing camping trip in the mountains. They ignore the warnings of the local truck stop owner and head to their destination. Things go terribly wrong when they run into an extraterrestrial who throws deadly discs that suck the blood of their victims. The group heads back to the truck stop for help from the eclectic group of residents – a crazy war veteran (Martin Landau) and a determined hunter (Jack Palance).
Scream Factory just announced the following extra features for the disc:
  • Audio Commentary with producer/director Greydon Clark
  • New Interviews with Cinematographer Dean Cundey, Co-Writer/Co-Producer Daniel Grodnik, Special Make-Up Effects Creator Greg Cannom and Actors Christopher S. Nelson and Tarah Nutter
  • Theatrical Trailer
  • Still Gallery
